Energy saving is becoming more important than ever.With the rising cost of crude oil which translates to higher power bills. Here are few tips to help lower you power bill.

 

(1) Every time you pay your monthly mortgage payment change the filter for your HVAC system . when your filter is dirty your AC system has to work harder to keep your home cool.

 

(2) By changing (1) 65 watt incandescent light bulb to a 18 watt  (CFL) your will save $39 per year @ .08 cents per kilowatt hour. Check with you power provider for your current kw rates. If you change (4) 65 watt incandescent bulbs you will save $156 per year!!!! It is a real simple way to save allot of money and help this country become energy independent.
